Why use a Password Manager at all?
When you get to any login screen online, what do think of? Perhaps you're like me and get a sense of frustration at having to remember which password I've used and knowing that I'll likely have to press that 'Forgot Password' button. If that sounds at all familiar, you may benefit greatly from using a Password Manager like NordPass.
'But how does a Password Manager benefit me?' you may be asking. When setting your passwords do you, like most, use something easy to remember? A mix of an important name or date combined with the name of your first pet or best friend? Unfortunately, if it’s memorable, your password is likely not as secure as it could and ideally should be, especially if it's to an account with important information such as your online banking.
Best practice calls for complex passwords (for example: iX3ogVk47z@x3), but those clearly aren't something most people can remember easily.
So, if we're supposed to set complex passwords how are we supposed to remember and use them conveniently? A password manager, such as NordPass, is the answer.

Trying out the Password Manager and Ease of Use
In order to try out NordPass before committing, I initially chose the web browser extension version of NordPass, but it is also available as an installed app available on near any device.
It took only a few days of use before I was fully on board and had setup NordPass on all of my devices; personal and business. I haven't looked back or stopped trying to get my friends and family on board since.
One of my main concerns in beginning to use any password manager was going from entering my existing account to using and relying on the new manager. Thankfully from the get go, NordPass felt great to use. As soon as it was installed and I'd logged in, the extension offered to remember my account details to each of my existing accounts as I logged in overtime. When it came to creating complex passwords, it offered to create and remember each as I made new, or updated existing, passwords. The only password I now have to remember is my single Master Password for my NordPass account, whilst the password manager does the rest of the legwork. The transition to using the password manager was far easier than expected and was a nearly seamless experience.
As if that wasn't enough, included in the Premium version, with all new accounts including a 30 day trial, are reports on Password Health and an active Data Breach Scanner that will inform you should any of your managed accounts be included in any data leaks or breaches. Among a few other features is also Email Masking, which allows you to sign up for online accounts using an email that appears different to your actual email, useful for avoiding spam and junk mail.
Overall Thoughts and Review
After only a few days of using the browser extension, I installed NordPass to my personal and business computer and have not looked back. Having never used a Password Manager before (and honestly resisting trying one for a long time) I can happily say that I’d never not use one again. Gone are the days of remembering passwords and having to press that ‘Forgot Password’ button. I pinch myself for not using one sooner.
For just about everyone, even those with amazing memories that have no problem remembering all your different account details, I cannot recommend using a Password Manager, in this case NordPass, enough. Browsing the internet and completing admin tasks, both personal and professional, felt quicker, easier and all around less stressful. 9/10 (since even the best can get better).
